The Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity and Lagrangian Approaches to Predict the Effective Thickness and Homogeneity of the Sandwich Panel

Non-destructive testing can be applied to various things, including sandwich panels. Sandwich panels made of EPS are greatly affected by the mixing process. Bad affect level homogeneity and reduce quality. In addition, improper thickness layers cores result in wall damage. For this reason, carrying out a non-destructive test on panel is necessary. This study aims determine material predict dimensions core layer. Experimental was conducted using Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (direct method) with 90 points. The object consisted six walls three variants, each layer 15 mm, 20 25 respectively, while size 70 80 respectively. results were analyzed travel time wave velocity statistical analysis approach covariance, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, ANOVA, t-test, Lagrangian. show that mixture's determined based ultrasonic pulse velocity. proposed Lagrange reveal behavior propagation speed.
